Backdropped by the tranqui beauty of the forest, our six luxuriously minimalist rooms are a restful oasis of calm. The rooms are named for the rescued horses and goats living on the adjacent farm, a property which is accessible to guests. Every room has a generously-sized bathroom with a spacious dressing area, some even with growing trees, aligned with our philosophy of preserving nature wherever possible.

Our property is the ideal place to indulge in activities to restore the body and soul. Suggestions include doing a yoga practice in the open-air river house, our yoga shala at the foot of the lodge Or you may wish to swim in our fortifying magnesium-rich pool, under the trees for a “forest-bathing” like no other

We also offer rejuvenating and restorative treatments performed by trained local therapists in the comfort of your own room, to continue the feeling of relaxation even after the treatment ends. notably, we do not add a surcharge to the therapist fee, so that the entire amount goes to the therapist. this is another way we support the community and local businesses, an important part of everything we do.

farm

the adjacent, chemical-free farm is at the core of our respect for mother nature and all she gives us. it is first an animal sanctuary, where the animals we rescued, the horses and goats, are encouraged to roam freely. it is also a natural garden, where we grow vegetables and herbs for the lodge, using innovative techniques to improve the soil and nourish the produce. all the animals and vegetable beds are cared for by villagers in kaba kaba, another way to help the community in which we live. guests are encouraged to visit the farm and explore the property. we can arrange for supervised visits with the animals or have you help harvest the vegetables and learn about natural farming. the view of the sunset from the farm is a beautiful way to wind down the day.
